Due to its structure and aesthetic characteristics, it falls into the Almohad minaret tower typology, very characteristic of the Aragonese Mudejar style. Its interior staircase of 119 steps provides access to the bell tower. It houses the interpretation centre of the Mudejar art of Teruel (World Heritage Site).
